About the practitioner behind ImpactFlow
Built from the work—and for the people doing it.
Why was ImpactFlow created
ImpactFlow grew from a simple conviction: a sound M&E system should make good practice easier to sustain. It should connect strategy to delivery, make responsibilities visible, protect the integrity of evidence and give leadership a clear route back to the underlying result. When that infrastructure works, organisations can invest less energy in repairing the reporting process and more of their time, judgment and resources where they matter most: operations on the ground and the services they provide to communities, partners and beneficiaries.
Giorgos Filippou is a monitoring, evaluation and learning executive whose career has crossed decades of designing and managing monitoring and evaluation systems in international NGOs and complex, multi-country portfolios. Again and again, he saw skilled teams forced to hold essential processes together through spreadsheets, email chains and personal memory, then spend reporting periods reconciling information instead of learning from it.
He developed ImpactFlow independently as a pro-bono service to humanitarian, development and conservation organisations that need this critical capability. It is not intended to generate profit. Small organisations can access the platform free within available support capacity; where a deployment requires organisation-specific adaptation or further development, any agreed cost is limited to delivering that work and the infrastructure it needs.
THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE PLATFORM
Move effort away from rebuilding reports—and back towards improving programmes.
ImpactFlow is designed to carry the operational weight of PMEL: the hierarchy, responsibilities, evidence, review decisions and portfolio view. The goal is not more administration. It is to make the essential administration coherent enough that practitioners can focus on learning, adaptation and delivery.

A PRACTICAL CONTRIBUTION
Let the system carry the process, so people can carry the mission.
If your organisation needs a connected M&E system but cannot justify enterprise software, describe the challenge. Every request is reviewed for a practical and supportable fit.
